Our take on the classic, all-leather work glove for those who need durable hand protection and nothing else, the Black Diamond Kingpin has a super-tough goat leather shell and fixed fleece lining for an ideal combination of protection and warmth in mild-weather, high-output situations.

Kingpin gloves

This is my second pair of these. I ordered some a few years ago and used them so much on patrol that I wore them out. The BEST work glove for mid-temp days. Not the warmest, but the best for overall early and late season use when there's work to do.

Aptly named…

These gloves are my all time favorite: the only ones thin enough to wear on the skin track and thick enough for the descent. I have a set of the legends that I keep in my pack if I sit around, it’s a really cold day, or I happen to sweat to much, but generally these never come off my hands.
