The minimalist, four-season Black Diamond Twilight Bivy is built from water-resistant and breathable NanoShield fabric that keeps weight to an absolute minimum and packs down incredibly small, making it ideal for an emergency shelter or as a sleeping bag cover. Built with a zippered entry across the shoulders, it’s easy to get into and use while sitting up.

Class bivvy

I've used this bivy several times in the Sierras. It hasn't rained so haven't really tested it under those conditions, but it is very light and definitely adds warmth vs. just sleeping out.

This sack is excellent for adding warmth to a sleeping bag inside a tent or as a stand alone shelter. I keep one in my disaster kit, in case of an unexpected opportunity to sleep in the wilderness.
