The Black Diamond HighLine Stretch Shell is the most versatile, 3-layer mountain and alpine shell in our collection. The HighLine features a premier combination of our BD.dry waterproof/breathable protection and GTT’s revolutionary Breathable Water Protection Technology, an environmentally friendly PFC-free water-repellant finish that is superior in performance compared to any other C-6, C-8, or C-0 DWR. This performance is only exceeded by its durability, as the GTT is permanently hyper-fused to the individual fabric fibers, and there is no need to ever refresh the jacket with an additional spray or wash-in finish. The HighLine is fully-featured, with a chest and two hand pockets, DWR pit zips for ventilation, an adjustable, climbing helmet compatible hood. YKK Aquaguard Zippers keep you dry, while the HighLine’s incredibly lightweight and packable stretch nylon fabric allows you to move freely whether you’re alpine climbing or trekking in the mountains.

Great jacket

Love this jacket! Bought this one as a replacement for the one I recently lost. I have worn this jacket on many outdoor adventures, including a Sisters travers during a blizzard.

Comfortable

I love how this jacket is lightweight and comfortable. Some waterproof shells feel crinkly or stiff; this one stretches and breathes well. Upon first use, it shed rain and snow and kept me dry.
