Designed to tackle serious ice and mixed lines on winter crags and alpine faces the world over, the Black Diamond Stinger is our lightweight stainless steel crampon with a replaceable monopoint. An asymmetrical design fits the contours of modern mountain boots, and thin, low-profile heel and toe wires offer a precise fit for less weight.

Favorite monos

These are solid, a definite win. I tried the grivel G20+ and the Cassin blade runner and Alpinist tech. Although I thought I'd be happiest with the blade runner, once I took the BD stingers out I knew immediately that they were the keepers.

Great ice crampon!

A upgrade from Sabertooths. Even with the loss of a second front-point, my feet feel more secure in these on all ice that I've climbed. Can't say I've felt the same mixed climbing in these, however.
