Description

For all-day tours and day-in, day-out backcountry use, the Black Diamond Dawn Patrol Pants are breathable enough to move with you and durable enough to make the journey. Designed with four-way stretch, double weave softshell fabric with a DWR finish, the Dawn Patrol Pants provide high-level breathability and mobility while remaining highly durable. Providing superior temperature control on the uphill, mesh-backed vents cool you down while keeping unforeseen flurries out. New for 2019, we added full separating side zips with integrated snow gaiters for easy boot boot-access and protection, while reinforced instep patches protect against sharp ski edges and crampon points.

Excellent stretchy pants!

These are great! Lightweight stretchy and alll you need for ski touring. My only gripe about these would be the lack of a tether for a Beacon in the pocket. All of my other ski touring pants have this tether or a dedicated pocket.

Great touring pants

5, 8", 160 lbs, got the mediums. Great fit, well placed pockets for field book and others items, suspenders are low profile, hardly noticeable. Walk really well, breathe good and cut the wind, do well in snow. Great pants for skiing up and down.
